Functions of K-40M
Complex К-40M is intended for locating a line and finding insulation faults of underground gas mains without ground mining, and also a line of power electric cables in areas with a temperate climate.
Description of К-40M
Complex К-40Мis a hand truck on which the following devices are placed: a generator with independent power G-40 (capacity is 40 watt, stabilized by quartz frequency of 1024 Hz, power supply is from a built in truck accumulator 12 h or from an external one), sensitive selective portable receiver V, 40 A P-40-М7 with induction and potential sensors of contact type, implements.
Two operators control Complex К-40М.
ATTENTION! The complex cannot determine insulation leakage of the gas mains which are put under asphalt or rocky ground. In this case locating a line of a gas main is only possible.
