Functions of Bridge SA7100
Bridge SА7100 (Specification 16308549.005) is intended for taking measurements of electric circuits parameters, testing, calibrating and metrological certificating instrumentations in state and departmental metrological services.
The basic function of bridge SA7100 is measurement of a tangent of dielectric losses and high-voltage insulation capacity. Bridge SА7100 secures operative and ergonomic measuring parameters of insulation, both in laboratories and in field conditions. These options exist due to simplicity of running, light weight and small dimensions of bridge SA7100, and also its high noise immunity.
Areas of Application SА7100 are:
- Measurement of a tangent of dielectric losses and high-voltage industrial insulation capacity (insulators, leads-in, transformers, engines, generators, jacks, etc.)
- Calibration of high-voltage and low-voltage measuring condensers.
- Test and calibration of high-voltage measuring transformers of voltage.
- Measurement of power condensers’ parameters.
- Measurement of high-voltage cables’ parameters
- Measurement of voltage.
Basic characteristics of SА7100
Bridge SА7100 belongs to the State register of measuring tools permitted for running in Ukraine (# 1259-00).
After assemblage of the measurement circuit and supply of measuring voltage all the processes get fully automated. Bridge SA7100 running is controlled by a personal computer, e. g. a notebook. Computer application allows an operator to implement a wide range of service options on processing, systematizing and storing tests and measurements results, reports writing. The bridge constantly displays the information on a test voltage value during measuring.
Bridge SА7100 is equipped with the protection systems against external electromagnetic disturbance, and against influence of various defects of stress curve of testing voltage; owing to these systems accurateness of measurements is achieved at a level of the fixed metrological characteristics in adverse conditions of the bridge running.
Power supply of bridge SA7100 is from the built-in independent source. The bridge and a LCU control are connected with a fiber-optic non-conducting cable, in such a way absolute electrical safety of the staff is guaranteed. The specified circumstances facilitate measuring of parameters of insulation of earthed objects in an "inverse" way when the case of the bridge can be connected directly to the outlet of the testing voltage source.
The design of bridge SA7100 is designed for long maintenance as a part of mobile laboratories. Its characteristics are standardized for a temperatures range between 0 up to 40 degrees centigrade.
Bridge SА7100 can be used for calibration of measuring condensers.
Modification of bridge SA7100 with a limit of a permissible measurement error of 0,001 % can be made for the purposes of precision measurements.
